This wheel throwing class is for students who have taken 7+ weeks of wheel throwing classes.
Curriculum will be written/customized to meet the desires of the class.
INCLUDED:
- 1 bag of stoneware clay
- Underglaze, assorted brush on glazes and a clear dipping glaze.
- Tools available for use. (**All outside tools must be clearly labeled).
CLASS SCHEDULE:
- 6:30-6:50: Demonstration
- 6:50-9:10: Guided and Independent practice. Additional demos by request. I will circulate providing one-on-one attention on the technicality of your wheel thrown or hand built projects.
- 9:10-9:30: Clean up and closing meeting
EXTRA FEES:
- Firing is .07 per cubic inch. **Firing fees are accepted via cash, Venmo or Zelle.
- Optional open studio $10 per session SUNDAYS
WHAT TO BRING
- Clothes that can get dirty
- Tools: if you’d like to use your own
- An apron and a hand towel that you will bring home with you at the end of each class.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
If a student decides to withdraw after the semester begins, there are no refunds unless if there is a replacement student available.
MAKE UPS AND REFUNDS
One makeup class allotted per session. No make ups after the class ends. Full refunds are offered if cancellation happens up to 2 days before a class starts. No refunds less than 48 hours before the class begins. A substitute attendee may be named by the booking party at any time
