This is an intermediate level class for students with at least 14 weeks of wheel throwing class experience. You must have the ability to center at least 6 lbs.

Explore the Korean Moon Jar with ceramic artist Itai Lavie. In this 7 week course you will level up your wheel throwing skills while exploring traditional Korean wheel throwing techniques. Learn to throw larger, shape a moon jar, throw off the hump and more.

INCLUDED:

  • 1 bag of stoneware clay. Additional clay $25/bag
  • Underglaze, assorted brush on glazes and a clear dipping glaze.
  • Tools available for use. (**All outside tools must be clearly labeled).

EXTRA FEES:

  • Firing is .07 per cubic inch. **Firing fees are accepted via cash, Venmo or Zelle.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Clothes that can get dirty
  • Tools: if you’d like to use your own
  • An apron and a hand towel that you will bring home with you at the end of each class.

 

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

If a student decides to withdraw after the semester begins, there are no refunds unless if there is a replacement student available.

MAKE UPS AND REFUNDS

One makeup class allotted per session. No make ups after the class ends. Full refunds are offered if cancellation happens up to 2 days before a class starts. No refunds less than 48 hours before the class begins. A substitute attendee may be named by the booking party at any time
