Join me this December for a 3-week session of specialized ceramic art education!

This class, for returning students, will explore clay from a designer’s perspective. We’ll combine handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques to develop functional ideas and construct them using clay as our medium. The class will be structured as half wheel and half handbuilding, with flexibility to focus on one technique if students are feeling deeply drawn to it.

Each week I’ll offer a guided project, but students are also encouraged to bring their own ideas. Those who arrive with a clear concept and sketch will have the opportunity to prioritize their own projects over the class prompts.

• Wall sconce
• Large coil-built pots
• Wall hangings

I will have clean aprons available for use All materials and firing fees are included.

• Clothes that can get dirty

MAKE UPS & CANCELLATION

Students are allowed one makeup class per session. Full refunds are offered if cancellation happens within 2 days before a class starts. No refunds available after the class begins. It is free to transfer credits to another class or service as long as there is room available. A substitute attendee may be named by the booking party at any time
