• Firing is .07 per cubic inch.

This wheel throwing class is for students with 7+ weeks class experience.

We will explore slab coiling to handbuild a large vessel, learn to color and marble clay, explore more advanced surface decoration, glass melting and more! 

The curriculum will be customized to meet the desires of the group

• Summer special: Unlimited open studio access. Open studio is not a class.

CLASS SCHEDULE:

• 6:30-6:50: Demonstration
• 6:50-9:10: Guided and Independent practice. Additional demos by request. I will circulate providing one-on-one attention on the technicality of your wheel thrown or hand built projects.
• 9:10-9:30: Clean up and closing meeting

INCLUDED:

• 1 bag of stoneware clay
• Underglaze, 15 Dipping glazes, assorted brush on glazes.
• Tools available for use.

EXTRA FEES:

• Firing is .07 per cubic inch. **Firing fees are accepted via cash, Venmo or Zelle.

WHAT TO BRING

• Clothes that can get dirty
• An apron and a hand towel that you will bring home with you at the end of each class.

 

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

If a student decides to withdraw after the semester begins, there are no refunds unless if there is a replacement student available.

MAKE UPS AND REFUNDS

One makeup class allotted per session. No make ups after the class ends. Full refunds are offered if cancellation happens up to 2 days before a class starts. No refunds less than 48 hours before the class begins. A substitute attendee may be named by the booking party at any time
